Hotel Commercial Performance Manager – Dallas, TX Full Time Dallas, TX, US Position Summary The Hotel Commercial Performance Manager will work closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Property Leadership teams to measure portfolio performance, identify opportunities, monitor accountability, and drive revenue and profitability growth. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong analytical capabilities who enjoys transforming large amounts of data into executive-level business intelligence and performance metrics. What You'll Do Portfolio Performance Management Develop, maintain, and continuously improve company-wide hotel performance scorecards tracking performance against budget, forecast, prior year, market, and brand benchmarks. Analyze weekly and monthly revenue pace trends across the portfolio; identify properties that are outperforming or underperforming expectations and surface findings proactively. Create executive summaries and narrative commentary highlighting portfolio risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. Monitor forecast accuracy across all properties and flag material variances to leadership in advance of financial review dates. Commercial Analytics Consolidate and normalize data from STR reports, brand reporting platforms (Marriott, Hilton, other brands), revenue management systems, CRM systems, and sales activity reports into a single, reliable performance picture. Track and report key commercial performance indicators including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, RevPAR Index (RGI), Market Share, Revenue Pace, Group Pace, Transient Pace, Lead Conversion, and Sales Productivity. Design and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tools that reduce manual effort and improve data accessibility for corporate and property leadership. Develop and maintain sales accountability reporting that measures prospecting activity, sales calls, site visits, lead generation, group production, and corporate account performance across all properties. Partner with Directors of Sales and the COO to identify performance gaps, establish accountability benchmarks, and track progress against commercial targets. Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline health and conversion rates to support revenue forecasting. Sales Performance Reporting Develop and maintain sales accountability reporting that measures prospecting activity, sales calls, site visits, lead generation, group production, and corporate account performance across all properties. Partner with Directors of Sales and the COO to identify performance gaps, establish accountability benchmarks, and track progress against commercial targets. Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline health and conversion rates to support revenue forecasting. Brand Performance Oversight Track brand compliance and performance metrics across Marriott, Hilton, and other brand properties, including Guest Satisfaction Scores, Loyalty Contribution, Digital Performance, Brand Ranking, and Quality Assurance Scores. Identify trends and patterns impacting brand positioning, guest experience scores, and loyalty performance; communicate findings with recommended action steps. Executive Reporting Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for ownership groups, corporate leadership, asset management meetings, and budget reviews. Prepare and present executive-level performance presentations in a concise, data-forward, and actionable format. Ensure all reporting is accurate, timely, and consistently formatted to PAH standards. Forecasting and Planning Support Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by validating revenue assumptions and providing historical performance context. Assist in the development of performance improvement plans and strategic planning initiatives at the property and portfolio level. Track the progress and outcomes of action plans and operational initiatives against established KPIs. How Success Is Measured Portfolio and Revenue Performance Portfolio RevPAR growth year-over-year Market Share Growth (RGI) across the portfolio Forecast accuracy vs. actual results Budget attainment by property and portfolio Revenue pace and lead conversion improvement Reporting Quality and Operational Impact Accuracy and timeliness of all recurring reports and dashboards Executive satisfaction with reporting tools and data accessibility Action plan completion rates and performance improvement outcomes Sales productivity improvements tracked against baseline What You Bring Required Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 to 7 years of hotel industry experience with demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following: Revenue Management, Hotel Sales, Hotel Operations, Asset Management, or Financial Analysis. Proven ability to consolidate and interpret large data sets from multiple sources and communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing and delivering executive-level presentations. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to reporting accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Multi-property or portfolio-level experience in a hotel management company environment. Familiarity with Marriott, Hilton, or other brand performance platforms and reporting tools. Prior experience in a commercial performance, revenue strategy, or business intelligence role. Technology and Systems Proficiency Data Analysis and Reporting Microsoft Excel (advanced): pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, complex formulas, and data modeling. Microsoft Power BI or Tableau: building and maintaining interactive dashboards and performance reports. Microsoft PowerPoint: executive-level presentation design and data storytelling. Microsoft Word and Outlook: standard corporate communications and documentation. Hotel Performance and Revenue Platforms STR (CoStar): competitive set benchmarking, market share analysis, and trend reporting. Brand reporting platforms: Marriott's Business Intelligence tools (MarRFP, One Yield, or equivalent), Hilton's OnQ and performance dashboards, other property reporting systems. Revenue Management Systems (RMS): familiarity with IDeaS, Duetto, or comparable platforms. Property Management Systems (PMS): Opera, Fosse, OnQ PM, or equivalent; ability to pull and interpret operational data. Sales and CRM Tools Hotel sales CRM platforms: Delphi (Amadeus), Salesforce, or comparable hotel sales tracking systems. Group and transient pace reporting tools used within brand ecosystems. Finance and Budgeting Hotel accounting and budgeting platforms: M3, Sage Intacct, or comparable hospitality-focused financial reporting tools. Ability to read, validate, and present hotel P&L statements and financial performance summaries. Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position is based in-office at the PAH corporate office in Dallas, TX. Periodic travel to hotel properties (approximately 10 to 15 percent of time) is required; some overnight travel may be necessary. Extended periods of computer use. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally (files, materials).
