For more information, visit .Summary of Role:We are looking for a Finance Manager to support MIPS’ IP Licensing and Tools businesses- core growth engines as we scale our RISC‑V and Physical AI platform.The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IFRS revenue recognition and a strong understanding of how to align commercial deal structures with compliant accounting outcomes.This is a hands‑on finance leadership role, embedded in the business and influencing commercial and investment decisions.Essential ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Contract OwnershipPartner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to structure IP licensing and tools agreementsOwn end‑to‑end contract economics, including performance obligation assessment and revenue recognition under IFRS 15Ensure deal structures and revenue timing align with both commercial objectives and accounting requirementsBusiness PartneringAct as the primary finance partner for Product, Engineering, and Operations leadersEvaluate R&D investments, cost structures, and profitability across licensing and tools offeringsSupport pricing, deal strategies, and trade‑off decisions with clear financial insightsFinancial LeadershipLead end‑to‑end financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for the IP Licensing and Tools businessesDrive forecasting accuracy, operating cadence, variance analysis, and management reportingProactively identify risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendationsAI Enablement & AutomationDrive automation across FP&A and contract workflows, leveraging AI to improve forecast accuracy, efficiency, and scalability while reducing manual, spreadsheet‑driven processesOther Responsibilities:· Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required QualificationsCPA, MBA, or relevant Master’s degree5–8 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, ideally in semiconductor IP licensingDeep expertise in IFRS 15 revenue recognition and contract structuring across complex technology arrangementsExceptional analytical, communication, and executive‑level presentation skillsExpected Salary Range$105,000.00 - $189,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at View email address on click.appcast.io and let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
