Role Overview

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, from abdominal and obstetric to gynecological and vascular imaging
• Prioritizing patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining procedures with empathy
• Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare providers to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintaining and operating imaging equipment while promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Documenting procedures and managing patient data within electronic medical records
• Staying abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Educational Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Licensure Requirements

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
