Overview Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group, Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois. Highlights of the Role Schedule: M-F 9a-5p No Call Requirements – enjoy your personal time without after‑hours interruptions Single‑Site Role: Work at Olympia Fields, IL clinic Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced gastroenterologists and support staff State‑of‑the‑Art Facilities with advanced GI diagnostic and treatment capabilities Responsibilities Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff. Conduct initial assessments, follow‑ups, and manage outpatient follow‑up visits. Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care. Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education. Qualifications Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) licensed in Illinois. Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology outpatient medicine. Strong clinical decision‑making and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team. EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).
