What We're Looking For As a Sales Associate, you have a passion for discovering customers' needs and goals and create a unique shopping experience tailored for each customer. What You'll Do As a Sales Associate, you will be dedicated to understanding customers' needs, offering meaningful solutions, advising, selling, and recommending products. When not servicing customers, you will restock, maintain visual merchandising, fulfill online orders, and perform cleaning duties while representing the GNC brand. Proactively greet and welcome every customer that visits GNC and create a welcoming environment to attract new and existing customers. Interact with customers to help them choose the right products and make recommendations based on product knowledge and their needs. Drive results to achieve and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals. Fulfill online orders timely and accurately in compliance with company guidelines. Boost product knowledge by learning product features, advantages, and benefits; stay up to date on nutrition, wellness, and fitness news. Support store management in opening, closing, and operating the retail store, including cash handling, inventory count, deposits, and maintaining store appearance. Environmental Factors & Working Schedule Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day. Frequent reaching and bending and twisting—below waist and above shoulders. Frequent use of repetitive hand‑to‑finger motions and reaching with hands and arms. Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally up to forty pounds; push/pull up to 20 lbs. Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend. Work in temperatures ranging from 50°F to 85°F, especially in stock rooms. Use of a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day. Store Operations Expectations Work nights or mornings to open or close the store. Be able to work key peak business days and hours, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Work all major U.S. holidays that the store is open. Qualifications Sales Associate must be at least 18 years of age.
