What You'll Do
- Provide inpatient rehab medical management and routine non-procedural care for adult patients
- Conduct bread-and-butter inpatient rehabilitation procedures including joint injections and baclofen pump management
- Collaborate with hospitalists and support staff for coordinated patient care
- Support patient evaluations and treatments on a 810 patient daily caseload on an 11-bed unit
- Participate in staff meetings and unit rounds as scheduled
- Support potential consultations on acute care when needed
What You Need
- Active Illinois medical license and DEA registration
- ACLS certification (required)
- 1-2 years minimum inpatient rehab experience; recent inpatient work strongly preferred
- Board certification or participation in exam process within five years in physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
