RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in cancellation. Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience is required. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Local candidates are allowed with a rate difference. All staff practice weekly rotation providing procedure coverage for all services listed. There is 24/7 call coverage for STEMI/emergent/urgent Interventional Radiology and cardiology procedures. Call requirement is during the week from 16:00 to 07:30 the next morning. Weekend call is Friday 16:00 until Monday at 07:30. Staff members rotate on call twice a week for two weeks in the month, with one call weekend per month and one week following the call weekend without call. Occasional additional call may be required, with even distribution among staff members. Expect urgent and emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs; IR callback time is determined based on procedure type. The team consists of three staff members, one of whom is a registered nurse. No floating is required. Weekend requirement includes twice a week for two weeks in the month and one call weekend per month. The department consists of interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology device implant procedures. There is an 85%/15% split with Interventional Radiology being the dominant service. Lab hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Special equipment used includes MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, Angio Jet, and others. All testing must be completed within 48 hours after signing. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as per the job description.
