Company Name: Safelite. Job Description Auto Glass Technician Trainee – a full‑time role that trains you to become a certified auto glass technician on a nationally recognized team. You will install and repair auto glass, recalibrate safety systems, and provide additional services. You work outdoors in varying weather conditions and receive paid training for three months. Qualifications As a Technician Trainee you will: Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands‑on and classroom training Install and repair auto glass Recalibrate automotive safety systems Provide additional services and products Study and pass testing to become a Safelite‑certified technician, demonstrating proficiency in installations, a positive attitude, and compliance with taught techniques Safely operate a company vehicle and company‑issued tools during the workday What you’ll get: Competitive weekly pay starting at $18/hour, increasing to $20/hour after training and certification Earn $5 per set of wiper blades added for customer safety Potential to be promoted within the first year to up to $22/hour as a Senior Tech and up to $25/hour as a Master Tech, based on performance metrics Benefits package valued at more than $10k, including a 401(k) plan with company match, medical plans, paid time off, holidays, and volunteer days Program to buy additional PTO or sell unused time up to 16 hours Up to $5,250 annually in tuition reimbursement Paid training and all tools and resources needed to succeed What you’ll need: Must be at least 18 years old Comfortable working outside in a wide variety of weather conditions on your feet for extended periods Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility on start and end times to accommodate customer needs Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds for short periods and at times at elevated heights High school diploma/GED/equivalent preferred; ability to read and write Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
