Job Description As an Armed Security Officer – Rover in Parker, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime: Mon 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Serve in an armed post in accordance with site rules and Allied Universal protocols, maintaining professional interaction with employees, visitors, and/or members of the public. Monitor access points and help to enforce location rules by verifying credentials, observing for suspicious activity, and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or law enforcement when needed. Minimum Requirements Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
