Our client is seeking manufacturing assemblers in Rockledge, FL. Mechanical assembly experience required. Must speak basic English and pass a pre-employment drug test plus a criminal background check.
POSITION SUMMARY:Assemble components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures
Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production drawings
Set up and operate machines such as drill presses, grinders, and riveters.
Assembles components by examining connections for proper fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies, per customer specifications/blueprints. Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Perform basic measurements using tools such as tape measures and calipers.
Maintains a clean and safe working environment SCHEDULE:
M-Th 7AM-4:30 PM, Fri 7AM-11AM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3+ years of previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Attention to detail.
Ability to read blueprints.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, regularly lift up to 40 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. of product Company Description
