Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift position at a hospital-based respiratory/neuro diagnostics unit, requiring 1-2 years of experience and an Oklahoma license.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Graduate of a CoARC or CAAHP-accredited respiratory therapy education program
• A.S. degree required; B.S. degree preferred
• Minimum 20 quarter hours of science coursework required
• 1-2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NBRC (RRT or CRT)
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
• First-time travelers may be considered — check with your recruiter for details
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years will be required for consideration
