Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Citrus Cardiology Consultants, PLLC is looking for a (Part-time/PRN) Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our outstanding staff. Position is located in Lecanto and Inverness, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear cardiology imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and clinic protocols.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other required medications under supervision, maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety regulations.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure device calibration and image quality.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures, prioritizing safety, comfort, and clear communication.
• Provide and coordinate scheduling support for patients and physicians as needed.
• Document procedures, results, and patient data accurately in the EMR; prepare clear reports for physicians.
• Collaborate with the care team to support efficient clinic workflow and timely patient care.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of imaging supplies.
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and clinic policies; engage in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

• CNMT or RT(N)(ARRT)
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Experience:

• Nuclear Medicine Tech: 1 year (Preferred)
