Vice President, Network Engineering

Salary: $62,500 - 209,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 15+ years of progressive experience leading large-scale enterprise network engineering, architecture, or infrastructure teams in complex global settings.
• We need deep expertise designing, deploying, and running global network services across data centers, cloud environments, internet connectivity, and corporate networks.
• We expect demonstrated success creating and delivering technology modernization strategies in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

• We require experience with network observability, telemetry, monitoring, event management, and performance analytics tools.
• We need knowledge of network security frameworks, zero trust principles, access controls, compliance requirements, and policy-driven governance.
• We require experience implementing network automation, infrastructure as code, policy as code, and AI-assisted operational practices.
• Preferred: experience introducing service ownership models and service-based operating frameworks within infrastructure organizations.
• Preferred: familiarity with AIOps, intelligent automation, predictive monitoring, and advanced operational analytics.
• Preferred: experience leading network transformation tied to cloud migration, digital modernization, and infrastructure simplification.
• Preferred: strong background in vendor strategy, contract negotiations, financial governance, and technology investment planning.
• Preferred: experience developing executive dashboards and reporting on service health, operational performance, risk, modernization progress, and business outcomes.

• We will lead the global network strategy, architecture, engineering, and roadmap across LAN, WAN, cloud, data center, internet edge, partner connectivity, and corporate network environments.
• We will drive modernization of network services supporting hybrid and multi-cloud platforms, including GCP, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure.
• We will simplify network complexity through standardization, segmentation, resiliency improvements, lifecycle management, and architectural modernization.
• We will establish and mature a service-based operating model with clear service ownership, performance measures, support structures, and continuous improvement plans.
• We will partner with cloud, platform, architecture, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to improve access to network services through automation, standard designs, and self-service capabilities.
• We will strengthen network reliability through disciplined incident management, problem management, change governance, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• We will advance observability, automation, telemetry, event correlation, and AI-enabled operational capabilities to improve availability and reduce complexity.
• We will integrate security, compliance, segmentation, auditability, access controls, and policy-driven governance into network designs and operations.
• We will own capacity planning, technology lifecycle management, vendor relationships, investment strategy, and cost optimization initiatives.
• We will build and lead a high-performing global engineering organization centered on accountability, innovation, service ownership, technical excellence, and customer outcomes.
