Warehouse Associate (Seasonal/temporary)Reports to: Logistics ManagerLocation: DMG MORI Manufacturing, Davis, CAHours: Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 3:40 PMClassification: Non-ExemptTravel: 0%This position has access to equipment and/or technology that is subject to U.S. export control restrictions. Hiring by DMG MORI must be made in compliance with applicable regulations.The Logistics Team receives both international and domestic freight, and places the material in inventory as well as deliver components to specified locations in the facility based on production requirements. The Warehouse Associate will assist the Logistics Team by preparing the component kits to be delivered to Assembly, ensuring the correct parts and accurate quantities are delivered on-time while maintaining accuracy of the inventory. Responsibilities include up to and are not limited to:Unpack crates and stock parts in warehouseAccurate and efficient kitting and packaging through use of tracking tools, equipment, and checklistsPreparing, verifying, and keeping records of incoming shipments on a daily basisComparing information counts, weights, and measurements of incoming shipments to verify information against Bills of Lading, invoices, orders, or other records in order to ensure specifications and inventory accuracyMaintaining all data and records relative to shipping activitiesOther duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentWarehouse management related experience preferred, but not requiredWarehousing, receiving, stocking and inventory control experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to load, unload, lift, and move industrial componentsFundamental computer operation skillsPreferred requirement – certified to operate a forklift or forklift experienceWork Environment:Manufacturing environment (welding, cutting, forming, painting, assembly, machining, quality control facility) at DMG MORI Manufacturing.
