A growing nursing and healthcare-focused educational institution is seeking an experienced Director of Admissions to lead admissions operations, manage an enrollment team, and drive student recruitment strategy for campus growth.

The Director of Admissions will oversee the admissions team while ensuring enrollment goals are achieved through strong leadership, coaching, accountability, and process management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Department
• Hire, train, mentor, and develop Admissions Representatives and enrollment staff
• Drive campus enrollment performance while ensuring admissions goals are consistently achieved
• Monitor team activity, productivity metrics, conversion rates, and overall admissions performance
• Coach admissions staff on consultative conversations, objection handling, follow-up strategy, and closing techniques
• Partner with campus leadership to develop and execute student recruitment strategies
• Ensure compliance with admissions policies, regulatory requirements, and institutional standards
• Review admissions reporting, pipeline activity, and forecasting to ensure enrollment targets are met
• Create a culture focused on accountability, student service, teamwork, and performance excellence
• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to overall campus growth strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Previous Admissions leadership experience required (Director of Admissions, Associate Director of Admissions, Admissions Manager, or similar leadership role)
• Experience working in higher education, career education, vocational education, healthcare education, or nursing education strongly preferred
• Proven track record of leading admissions teams and consistently achieving enrollment goals
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Experience managing KPIs, admissions reporting, and performance metrics
• Ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience working within compliance-driven educational environments preferred
