Retail Sales AssistantSnow's Furniture in Enid is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Retail Sales Assistant to support our sales team and help create an excellent experience for every customer. This is primarily a sales-support position rather than an independent commissioned sales role. The Retail Sales Assistant will greet customers, assist members of the sales team, enter orders, prepare financing paperwork, answer phones, follow up with customers, and help keep the showroom organized and ready for business. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable learning new technology, pays attention to details, and is willing to help wherever needed.Key Responsibilities:Welcome customers and help connect them with a sales team memberProvide general assistance to customers throughout their shopping experienceSupport commissioned salespeople with customer service and administrative dutiesAnswer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries appropriatelyEnter sales, customer information, and product orders accuratelyAssist customers and salespeople with financing applications and paperworkFollow up with customers regarding purchases, orders, financing, and other needsHelp maintain a clean, organized, and attractive showroomAssist with product pricing, tagging, merchandising, and inventory-related tasksLearn and use the company's point-of-sale and other technology systemsWork cooperatively with the sales and management teamsPerform other reasonable store-support duties as neededQualifications:Previous furniture or retail experience is not requiredFriendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with customersDependable and able to work effectively as part of a teamOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasksComfortable using computers and learning new technologyStrong verbal and written communication skillsWilling to take initiative and help where neededAble to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitudeSchedule:This is a full-time position averaging 36-40 hours per week. Weekend availability is required, including Sundays.
