As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate site contacts or Allied Universal leadership. Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
