A resort for the generations, with contemporary guest rooms, suites, and private residences, CanoeHouse oceanfront dining, three distinct pools, a signature spa and wellness haven, and Kainalu Ocean Sports program, set the tone for transformational experiences and enriching cultural immersion.The base salary for this position is $16.00 hourly plus commission.As a Massage Therapist you will be responsible for providing Massage and Spa services to guests with unparalleled personalized service, professionalism and come with exceptional knowledge in the field of the healing arts. This is a casual position.Greet guests warmly and escort guests to and from treatment rooms while attending to any immediate needs throughout their Spa visit.Prepare treatment rooms to client specifications while also adhering to the property service standardsPerform prep work and properly clean and restock the room as required and needed.Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout the treatment.Maintain professional ethics while ensuring personalized service is provided to each guest so they feel their needs are met.Maintain the work area with necessary supplies. Ensure the room is immaculate at all times as well as cleanliness of all other spa areas including locker rooms.Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa including guest complaints or misconduct.Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.QualificationsHawaii State License for Massage Therapy.A minimum of 500 hours of training in massage or have a current National Certification.Has current professional massage therapist liability insurance.Qualified for Swedish massage, plus one other type of massage, preferably deep tissue.High school graduate minimum.Willing to learn specific massages offered at Spa, when training is provided.Must be able to read schedules and use a computer system.Auberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, residences, and private clubs.
