Job Description
A medical services organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Pediatrician to join one of their community health centers in Manhattan.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexible scheduling options
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 16 hours)
- Setting: FQHC setting
Responsibilities:
- Providing primary care to pediatric patients
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
- Participating in patient support activities
- Engaging in community health initiatives
- Developing programs for pediatric care
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Valid NY medical license
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Proficiency in Pediatric Care
- Experience with Community-based Healthcare
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
Desired Qualifications:
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Expertise in Child Development
