Associate Technician, Expert Singleton Purification

Associate Technician position in the Expert Singleton Purification group supporting analytical chemistry and compound purification at Pfizer's Groton facility. The role involves generating experimental data, performing analytical method development, and operating laboratory instrumentation in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute experiment designs semi-independently under scientist guidance
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot UPLC-MS and SFC-MS analytical instrumentation
• Document experimental conditions and amounts in electronic lab notebook system
• Manage inventory of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and solvents
• Maintain clean and organized work areas to support continuous workflow

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years chemistry laboratory or API manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with scientific notebook proficiency
• Familiarity with modern analytical tools and techniques
• Ability to handle chemicals safely including acids, bases, and organic solvents
• Proficiency with UPLC-MS, SFC-MS, and related analytical equipment operation
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, and ChemDraw preferred

Compensation: $24.22-$40.36 per hour, plus overtime and premium pay eligibility
