Salary Range: $60,000–$75,000 per year 11 month contract: July 1st through May 31st Key Responsibilities Provide athletic training coverage for practices, games, tournaments, and other athletic events. Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries. Develop and implement injury‑prevention and conditioning programs. Establish and manage appropriate return‑to‑play protocols in coordination with physicians and school administration. Maintain accurate medical records, injury documentation, and student‑athlete health information. Communicate effectively with student‑athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, physicians, administrators, and school personnel. Coordinate referrals and follow‑up care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers. Educate student‑athletes and coaches regarding injury prevention, health, safety, hydration, and wellness. Maintain athletic training facilities, supplies, and equipment. Assist with emergency action plans and emergency response procedures. Ensure athletic training practices comply with applicable FHSAA, Florida, school, and healthcare regulations. Support a positive culture focused on student‑athlete safety, academic success, character, and athletic development. Required Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited program. Current Board of Certification (BOC) certification as an Athletic Trainer. Current Florida Athletic Trainer license. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification. Strong knowledge of athletic injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency care. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and athletic events. Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, administrators, parents, physicians, and student‑athletes. Preferred Qualifications Previous athletic training experience in a high school or secondary‑school setting. Experience working with multiple sports programs. Familiarity with FHSAA rules and Florida school athletic programs. Master's degree in Athletic Training. Experience developing comprehensive injury‑prevention and sports medicine programs. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, certifications, and qualifications.
