Loan Operations Specialist Full-time Regular Full Time Palos Heights, IL, US Salary Range: $50,000 to $56,000 Annually Loan Operations Specialist United Trust Bank | Palos Heights, IL Full-Time | Hourly Salary Range: $50,000–$56,000 annually, based on relevant experience. About the Role The Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of loan operations. This role supports the full loan lifecycle, including booking, documentation, auditing, and servicing, while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. What You’ll Do Book new loans, renewals, modifications, letters of credit, and lines of credit into the loan system Perform post-closing loan reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness Process and post loan transactions Handle participation loan processing (both purchased and sold loans) Conduct loan account research and resolve discrepancies Respond to loan-related inquiries from internal and external customers Balance loan general ledger clearing accounts Execute the recording and/or release of loan documents, as applicable Track and report collateral exceptions Process escrow disbursements Support internal and external audit requests Maintain loan documentation, including imaging and tracking of credit and collateral files Review daily reports and perform balancing functions Perform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of banking experience required Experience with commercial loan documentation preferred Proficiency with LaserPro preferred Familiarity with Fiserv systems preferred Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Why Join United Trust Bank?
