Hybrid Work

HCVT currently offers a hybrid work model that allows eligible employees to work both remotely and in the office, based on business needs and team coordination. When working remotely, employees are expected to meet the same performance standards, adhere to the same policies, and maintain the same level of communication, collaboration, and responsiveness as working in the office. The Senior Consultant plays a key role in delivering strategic technology and business transformation engagements for middle-market and private equity-backed clients. This individual partners with client leadership teams to assess operations, identify improvement opportunities, develop transformation roadmaps, and support the implementation of technology-enabled solutions.

The Senior Consultant serves as a day-to-day project leader, managing workstreams, mentoring associates, and acting as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders. Engagements may include technology strategy, process improvement, organizational design, ERP implementation, data and analytics initiatives, AI and automation programs, and change management efforts.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Client Delivery

• Lead workstreams across technology and transformation engagements.
• Evaluate client business processes, technology environments, operating models, and organizational structures to identify significant operational, financial, and technology risks.
• Facilitate client interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions.
• Analyze alternative solutions and recommend appropriate courses of action based on client objectives, constraints, risks, and implementation feasibility.
• Develop technology strategies, business cases, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans that influence significant client business decisions.
• Lead components of ERP evaluations, system-selection initiatives, and technology implementations, including requirements definition, solution evaluation, process design, testing strategy, and deployment planning.
• Advise clients in identifying and prioritizing AI and automation opportunities.
• Develop executive-level presentations and recommendations.
• Present findings and recommendations to client management teams and executives.
• Exercise independent judgement in escalating project risks and recommending correction action.

Project Management

• Coordinate and manage project activities and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate and manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor project progress and ensure engagements remain on budget and on schedule.
• Support engagement economics and project reporting.

Team Leadership

• Provide coaching and feedback to associates and contribute input regarding their development and engagement performance.
• Review work products for quality, accuracy, and alignment with client objectives.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure high-quality client deliverables.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the practice.

Practice Development

• Contribute to methodology development, templates, and intellectual capital.
• Participate in proposal development and client pursuit activities.
• Support thought leadership initiatives related to technology, transformation, AI, and operational excellence.

To be successful, these are the skills, qualities and experience you will need:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in:
• Management consulting
• Technology consulting
• Business transformation
• Internal strategy or transformation functions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading project workstreams and managing multiple priorities.
• Exceptional PowerPoint, Excel, and executive communication skills.
• Experience working directly with senior client stakeholders.

Optional

• MBA completed.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or technology transformation projects.
• Familiarity with AI, automation, and process optimization initiatives.
• Certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, Scrum, or change management credentials.

Travel

• Approximately 10-15% travel as needed.
