The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition within our organization is on the lookout for a Transplant Hepatologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, either on an academic or master clinician track. About the Division:

Our general GI Section is expanding its clinical and research programs in areas such as IBD, esophageal disorders, complex polypectomy, the application of AI in endoscopy, and functional GI diseases. The transplant hepatology section is recognized for hosting one of the longest-standing liver transplant programs in the nation. Additionally, the Division features a nationally acclaimed Advanced Endoscopy Section focused on ERCP, EUS, and the management of complex pancreas and biliary disorders. We strive for excellence across our three primary missions: patient care, education, and research.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.

• Board certification in internal medicine and board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology by the ABIM.

• Advanced training and clinical experience in hepatology and/or transplant hepatology are highly preferred.

• Proven excellence in patient care, a passion for medical education, and strong teaching abilities.

• Possession or ability to obtain a medical license and DEA registration in the State of Minnesota, meeting all credentialing and privilege requirements.

• Eligibility to obtain work authorization in the U.S. from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to VISA regulations.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position is jointly employed by our organization and the University. The total salary is competitive and aligned with AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical compensation, corresponding to clinical responsibilities, is provided through our organization. The base salary range for this clinical role is between $397,000 and $435,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation from the University will be based on academic contributions.
