HHA Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Unit Aide to join our team at Sprain Brook Manor, a premier rehabilitation center in Scarsdale, New York. As a Unit Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients, helping them to achieve their rehabilitation goals and regain independence. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and exceling in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed nursing staff with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and engaging environment
- Maintain a clean and organized unit, adhering to infection control standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in a similar healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
