Responsibilities
- Prepare for and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique and equipment readiness.
- Monitor hemodynamic status during procedures, manage procedural medications per protocol, and respond to emergent changes in patient condition.
- Provide post-procedure care, monitor vital signs and access-site status, and transfer patients safely to the appropriate area post-procedure.
- Operate cath lab equipment and imaging support as directed by the interventional cardiology team; ensure patient and team safety throughout.
- Document procedures, vital signs, and patient data in Cerner EMR with accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with interventional cardiology staff to ensure smooth workflow and continuity of care.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional cardiology setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Cerner EMR experience.
- Ability to work four 10-hour day shifts (Mon-Fri) in a high-acuity cath lab environment.
- Education: graduation from an accredited nursing program; overall readiness to function as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN.
