Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | Onsite | Weekends Required (approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:5–6 in accordance with unit standards
• Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands
• Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific policies and procedures
• Commit to working assigned holiday shifts as required per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience
• Ability to work weekends as part of the standard scheduling rotation
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines
• Background must be free of any reportable hits per facility policy
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
• Familiarity with floating between units in a multi-unit hospital setting
