Maintenance Technician

Electrical Maintenance –2nd Shift/3rd ShiftElectrical Maintenance for 2nd Shift/ 3rd Shift at Bad Boy Mowers, LLC. Overtime as needed based on production requirements.Position SummaryBad Boy Mowers is seeking a dependable and motivated electrical maintenance technician to support the facility by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing general facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to minimize equipment downtime and maintain efficient production.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and production machinery.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.Inspect machinery and equipment for proper operation and identify potential maintenance concerns.Replace worn or damaged components using hand and power tools.Perform general facility maintenance, including repairs to doors, air lines, plumbing, and other building systems as needed.Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed repairs.Assist with equipment installations, relocations, and production line improvements.Ensure all maintenance work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and fellow maintenance team members.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsPrevious maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.Working knowledge of basic mechanical maintenance practices.Basic understanding of motors, sensors, and controls.Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.Ability to read and interpret basic equipment manuals and work instructions.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.Preferred QualificationsExperience maintaining manufacturing or assembly equipment.Forklift and aerial lift certification (or ability to obtain certification).Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.Physical RequirementsFrequently stand and walk for extended periods.Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces as needed.Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Work ScheduleOvertime may be required on Fridays or other days based on production and maintenance needs.BenefitsBad Boy Mowers offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Holidays401(k) with Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramOpportunities for Career Growth and Development
