Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Ability to operate industrial dishwashing machines. Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques. Ability to handle and sort dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently. Basic understanding of kitchen operations.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds. Good physical condition and stamina. Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail. Reliability and punctuality. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Education: No formal education is required, but a high school diploma or equivalent is a plus.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Ensure all dishware, cookware, and utensils are sanitized and stored properly.
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers regularly.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support kitchen staff with additional cleaning tasks as required.
• Assist with unloading and storing kitchen deliveries.
