Salary: $22.00 - $26.00/hour depending on experience

Advanced Endodontics is looking for a compassionate and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our exceptional team in Louisville, KY! You'll work alongside our doctors using advanced technology to provide a comfortable, concierge-level experience while assisting with endodontic procedures. New Dental Assistant graduates with strong customer service skills are encouraged to apply!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.

·         Prepares patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.

·         Provides diagnostic information by administering quality dental x-rays.

·         Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests.

·         Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; suctioning; passing instruments and anticipating needs throughout the treatment appointment.

·         Documents dental care services by charting in patient notes and final reports to dentists.

·         Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; adheres to infection-control policies and protocols.

·         Maintains dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt.

·         Ensures operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

·         New DA graduates encouraged to apply!

·         Candidates with hospitality, hotel, concierge, retail, or high-level customer service experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

·         Excellent communication skills, high energy, and ability to multi-task.

·         Team player with the ability to work cooperatively with referring dental offices, other staff members, and patients.

·         Self-starter with the skills to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.

·         Must have a natural drive to grow professionally within the role and learn from constructive feedback.

·         Fast learner with the ability to grasp relevant concepts regarding duties and responsibilities.

·         Maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stressful situations.
