Position Details

Schedule:

• Monday - Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• One Friday per month: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment recommendations
• Ensure compliance with sterilization and infection control protocols
• Support efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience
• Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team
• Contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented office culture

Requirements

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Current radiology certification as required by Tennessee regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
• Team-player mentality with a patient-first approach
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
• If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Dentrix or other dental software experience
• Dental assisting school certification
