Early Childhood Teacher - Twaddler Classroom

Location: The Learning Experience - Owings Mills, MD
Pay: $17-$19 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)

Early Childhood Teacher - Twaddler Classroom

The Learning Experience - Owings Mills is seeking a caring and dependable Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Twaddler classroom. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys supporting young children as they develop communication skills, confidence, independence, and positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment

• Implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development

• Support language development, early communication skills, and positive peer interactions

• Guide daily routines including meals, diapering, transitions, and rest periods

• Build trusting relationships with children and families

• Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom

• Observe and document children's developmental progress

• Partner with fellow teachers to ensure a consistent and positive classroom experience

• Follow all Maryland childcare licensing and health and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Must be Infant/Toddler and Preschool Qualified according to Maryland licensing requirements

• Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children preferred

• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Passion for early childhood education and child development

• Must meet all Maryland licensing and background check requirements
