Registered Nurse - Rosewood

Nurse (PRN) - Monte Nido Rosewood Located in Wickenburg, Arizona. Monte Nido Rosewood is a leading eating disorder treatment program that offers comprehensive care from 24‑hour inpatient monitoring to residential, transitional, and outpatient programs. The facility uses a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to support patients with anorexia, bulimia, binge‑eating, and co‑occurring disorders. Responsibilities Initiate admission process by obtaining provider orders and completing initial nursing assessment within 24 hours. Perform vital sign monitoring, including orthostatic vitals and blind weights as ordered. Conduct patient assessments and document findings in detailed nursing notes. Monitor and document patient progress or regression according to policies and procedures. Assist providers in facilitating weekly patient consultations. Offer education and support for safe self‑administration of medications after discharge. Ensure accurate placement of medications in the medication box and update the medication administration record (MAR). Assist patients in obtaining medications from the pharmacy and facilitate initial medication orders. Coordinate and facilitate collection of laboratory specimens, ensure timely receipt of results, and communicate findings to the medical team. Research unfamiliar medications before administration to ensure safe and informed care. Collect and record data systematically and maintain updated patient records in the electronic system. Support a therapeutic milieu by monitoring patient behaviors, fostering a recovery‑focused environment, and collaborating with the treatment team. Communicate relevant information obtained from patients or families to the interdisciplinary team. Coordinate with the Primary Therapist on insurance review information. Collaborate with medical and psychiatric teams to provide integrated nursing care supporting eating disorder treatment goals. Participate in discharge planning with medical and psychiatric teams to ensure continuity of care and safe transition. Attend monthly nurse‑led meetings and other team meetings as needed. Provide health education to patients in individual or group sessions and document sessions accurately. Assist patients in coordinating outpatient appointments. Support informed consent processes by helping patients understand procedures and treatments. Adhere to professional standards, including the Baker Act (Florida only) and established nursing norms. Complete required onboarding, annual training, and periodic clinical services training. Serve as a positive role model and report suspected patient rights violations promptly. Assist with emergency or declared state of emergency duties as required. Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of one year of nursing experience (preferred). Valid nursing licensure in the state of practice. CPR/First Aid certification. Good communication and guest relations skills.
