Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining sanitation levels in and around company facilities as set forth by company standards. Responsibilities include cleaning terminals with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners to meet company standards. The Custodian removes all refuse from offices, restrooms, break-rooms, and buildings daily, ensuring trash cans are empty and clean. They ensure that restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies, relocate, move, and adjust office furniture as necessary, and maintain pest control systems to ensure the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping. They also remove ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking lots, maintain company grounds free from litter and debris, prepare company required reports on labor and equipment, maintain a log on the history of repairs by type of equipment, and keep complete and accurate records and reports as required. The Custodian reports any safety problems to the shift supervisor and complies with OSHA and MSDS standards. They perform other duties as instructed by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications include attention to detail, good communication skills, and previous experience.

The base hourly rate for this position is $21.26/HOUR. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay. This position may also be eligible for an additional $X/HOUR based on shift work.
