You Have:2+ years of experience developing complex systems, including developing and debugging multi–threaded or real–time embedded softwareExperience with object-oriented programming and familiarity with high reliability computing platforms and architecture such as Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS), Linux, Windows, or MacExperience with C, C++, ADA, Rust, or JavaExperience with the full software development lifecycle, from requirements decomposition to test verification and deploymentExperience implementing programming and software development standardsExperience building effective rapport with stakeholders from different disciplines to achieve successExperience using software development environments and tools, including Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio, or Rational SoftwareExperience operating systems and compiler technologySecret clearanceBachelor’s degree in CS, EE, Engineering, or Software EngineeringNice If You Have:Experience with software system safety implementationExperience with software testing Experience with MIL-STD-882 or equivalent system safety standardsExperience with FPGAs, PLDs, and firmware developmentExperience with AI/ML software safety and test and evaluation of fully autonomous systemsPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsMaster’s degree in CS, EE, Engineering, or Software EngineeringCertified Safety Professional (CSP), Navy Principal for Safety (PFS), or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)CertificationsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
