Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure or eligibility in Maryland
• Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
• Strong skills in evaluation, intervention, and the development of IEP goals
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
• Familiarity with school-based documentation and compliance standards
• Excellent time management and adaptability within a school schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting occupational therapy assessments for students with diverse needs
• Working collaboratively to write and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Providing direct and consultative OT services to students in classrooms and therapy rooms
• Documenting progress and maintaining organized records in line with school policies
• Participating in IEP meetings, sharing insights, and advocating for student needs
• Offering adaptive strategies and resources to teachers and support staff
• Supporting transitions and modifications within the educational environment
