Building Inspector

Nature of Work Requires experience in Claims Investigation. Employee manages a program or service organizational unit in the Department of Transportation. Plans and organizes the work procedures, directs the work of employees, develops employees, evaluates unit operations, develops budget needs, researches new work procedures, interprets statutes, regulations and policies. Area of Assignment: Claims Investigations Qualifications Training: Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university is required. A diploma (copy) must be submitted; your application will not be processed without verification documents. Experience: Four years of full‑time or equivalent part‑time paid administrative or supervisory experience in the area of assignment. Substitution: Experience as described below may substitute for the required training on a year‑for‑year basis. Special Requirement: A valid West Virginia driver’s license may be required.
