Nursing Supervisor (RN)

Camber Children's Mental Health Hospital | Wichita KS

$5,000 sign on bonus available for new staff, paid out in 4 installments.

Are you a compassionate nursing professional dedicated to helping children heal and thrive? Camber Children’s Mental Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (RN) to join our caring, multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will work with senior hospital leaders to improve and innovate programs, ensure the comfort and safety of patients and families in accordance with legal and hospital policies and procedures and establish standards of nursing care as defined by the Kansas State Board of Nursing, the State of Kansas, and KVC Health Systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide respectful and inclusive leadership to nursing departments
• Oversee nursing duties and medication administration services for inpatient and/or residential patients
• Oversees scheduling of nurses
• Collaborate with HR to recruit, interview and hire new employees
• Train new employees as required by KVC and state contracts
• Coordinates pharmacy services and participates in infection control committee

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Associates degree in nursing required. BSN preferred
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of Registered Nurse experience.

Behavioral health leadership experience; experience with staffing, quality, and regulatory compliance preferred.

• Must be at least 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
