PIPE TIG WELDER/ PIPE FITTER

The IRP Technician is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and responding to critical FAB infrastructure and facility systems during shift operations. Serving as the primary on-site technical resource during off-hours and weekends, this role ensures a rapid response to equipment failures, utility disruptions, and facility alarms to minimize downtime and maintain safe, continuous operations. Responsibilities

- Monitor FAB infrastructure: Oversee facility systems to ensure stable operations.

- Emergency Response: Respond immediately to alarms, system faults, and equipment failures to minimize downtime.

- Troubleshooting: Independently diagnose and repair technical issues as they arise.

- Maintenance: Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on all critical facility systems.

- Coordination: Communicate effectively with operations, engineering, and safety teams during incidents.

- Escalation: Perform initial containment and manage escalation for high-risk or complex failures.

- Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, including LOTO, PPE, and emergency procedures.

- Documentation: Record all incidents, repairs, and shift activities within maintenance tracking systems.

- Continuous Improvement: Support efforts to enhance system reliability and response efficiency.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
