Performs a variety of duties in support of the Glen Eagle Golf Course, for Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department of Naval Support Activity Mid-South, in Millington, TN. Provides excellent customer service by greeting our patrons in person and operation of a Point of Sales (POS) system.

Major Duties:

• Performs most or all of the following duties, which are typical, but not all inclusive:
• Performs assigned duties and provides necessary services to authorized patrons.
• Rings up sales of green fees, carts, range balls and other services/merchandise in appropriate sales categories
• Ensures all players are properly signed in, and all fees paid.
• Provides information concerning facilities and operation.
• Operates a cash register, Point of Sale (POS) system, processes product or service transactions.
• Greets patrons in person, answers the telephone, takes messages, handles customer requests, make referrals to the appropriate staff member.

Qualifications

Specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Qualifying experience must have been equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Three (3) months of general experience required relatable to the duties being performed.
• Cash handling and general office duties.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Education

High school diploma or 3 months general experience.
