Construction Project Manager

MasTec Civil is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager for heavy civil highway work in the Central FL area. The Construction Project Manager bears the full responsibility to oversee that the construction is performed according to specification, in the most efficient manner according to schedule and under budget. The Construction Project Manager is expected, among other things, to follow all project related procedures and of most importance, company policy. To accomplish these expectations the following procedures and guidelines have been established to facilitate the process.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling, project coordination, personnel selection, contract documents, cost control, subcontractor/vendor management, documentation, public relations, and safety.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management, minimum five years' experience in the heavy construction industry, bridge, roadwork, and DOT experience, and PMP certification preferred. Knowledge of construction means and methods, strong team leadership project management skills, experience in leading multi-disciplined teams, computer knowledge, ability to maintain onsite project documentation, ability to read and understand drawings and specifications, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment are also required.
