Registered Nurse (RN) In Emergency Room (ER)Perform nursing duties in an emergency room setting. Provide care to a mixed population of patients. Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. Administer drips and titrations as needed. Scrub color for uniforms includes black, navy blue, and Caribbean blue. Travel nurses may float to designated areas as needed. Participation in 1-2 out of 3 winter holidays is required unless the unit is closed. Reference checks may be conducted from charge nurses, nurse managers or directors. Emergency nursing skills checklist must be specific to the job discipline.
