Substitute Paraprofessional

Date Posted: 7/30/2019 Location: Franklin Borough School (High-Needs School) Position Under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, assist certified professional staff with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives. Qualifications Profile High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of 60 college level credits preferred but not required. Prior experience working with special needs children desirable. Requirements to be a Substitute at Franklin Borough School Complete Criminal History Review with the Office of Student Protection. Provide Documentation of Mantoux test with date and results. Please provide your most recent Mantoux/TB result per guidance from the NJ DOE. TB testing is not recommended for new employees, student teachers, and contractors of the district with a documented tuberculosis test result, regardless of when this test was done. Repeat TB testing is not required in the absence of a known or suspected exposure to active and infectious TB disease or unless otherwise ordered by a licensed clinician.
