Speech-Language Pathologist

A school district near Joliet, Illinois is seeking full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026-2027 school year. The district is open to both monolingual and bilingual (Spanish) candidates who are passionate about helping students develop their communication skills in a collaborative educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services and maintain required documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Caseload:

  • Caseload to be determined.
  • Opportunities available for both monolingual and bilingual (Spanish) SLPs.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
  • Bilingual Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred.

Education:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
