Registered Nurse NICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to critically ill and premature infants within a fast-paced NICU setting. Deliver comprehensive clinical care, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive neonatal care, including respiratory support, central line management, and Ostomy care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely intervention and reporting.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, procedures, and progress in the EMR system.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Support family education and provide emotional support to families of neonatal patients.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current licensure in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year of Level II-III NICU experience required; Level III-IV experience preferred.
• Certified in BLS and NRP.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and compassion.
• Experience with advanced neonatal equipment such as HFOV, ventilators, and CPAP.
