Senior Accountant

Senior Tax Accountant Opportunity for a driven entrepreneurial minded professional with partnership aspirations. Our client is a regional firm that that has successfully combined tradition tax compliance and planning with a robust wealth management practice, becoming the leading trusted adviser to businesses and high net worth clients for decades. They are seeking a professional with at least 3 years of accounting, and business and personal income tax compliance and planning experience along with strong interpersonal skills and a client service mind set to join their growing practice. What you will do: Develop relationships with firm clients acting as their trusted adviser on all accounting, tax compliance and planning for businesses and individuals. Interview clients to develop a deep understanding of their overall tax and financial makeup, and goals and work with the Financial Planning Team to develop a comprehensive business, tax and wealth management strategy. Lead business and personal income tax compliance, strategy and planning for clients. Prepare and review financial statements. Partner with the firm's wealth management team to develop and suggest wealth management strategies. Lead and develop junior team members. Lead communications with both clients, and federal (IRS), state and local tax officials. Network and develop relationships to promote firm awareness and drive practice growth.
