Training Specialist/DSP

Training Specialist / DSP St. Coletta's is seeking a Training Specialist/DSP to join the Community Day Services Program. Schedule Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4 PM Pay $20.54 hourly Responsibilities Implement methods of instruction consistent with current skills and performance curriculum. Adapt work stations to meet the needs of consumers: maintain a clean and safe work environment. Prepare required documentation for agency caseworkers. Provide crisis counseling and emergency interventions to consumers as needed. Transport clients in a van; monitor and record operating conditions of vehicle daily and report mechanical problems to the supervisor immediately. Transport clients while complying with route, safety and other transportation procedures. Track and record client transportation and other information. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. Ability to demonstrate approved behavior management techniques. DSP certification preferred, not required (in-house training available). CPR and First Aid Certification preferred, not required. Valid driver’s license. Pass a criminal background check and physical/drug test. Pass a MVR background check.
