About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of IT Operations to serve as the operational leader for enterprise information technology execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the CIO's strategic vision across the organization, with a focus on driving operational excellence, maintaining governance standards, and overseeing high-impact IT initiatives. This executive will lead the day-to-day operations of enterprise IT governance, manage a large portfolio of technology initiatives, and establish and enforce project management standards. Additionally, the role involves providing executive oversight of enterprise EMR implementations, managing technology investments, and fostering a culture of accountability and execution within the IT organization. Applicants for the Vice President of IT Operations role at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' progressive IT experience, with at least 8 years within a healthcare provider organization. A proven track record of leadership in full lifecycle EMR implementation, experience in managing IT operating and capital budgets, and a PMP certification are required. The ideal candidate will also have a Master's degree, and certifications such as CHCIO, CPHIMS, ITIL Foundation, Lean Six Sigma, and Prosci Change. Experience with multi-facility healthcare systems, new hospital openings, and specific EMR implementations is a plus. The role demands a strategic leader who can partner with executive and clinical leaders to deliver IT initiatives that have a significant impact on the organization.
