Knowledge of Application and Web Servers such as Weblogic and Apache Tomcat. Extensive experience communicating with relational databases through JDBC such as Oracle, DB2, Sybase and MSSQL. Proficiency in object-oriented application design and integration patterns and ability to apply design patterns to solve technical problems. Knowledge and experience in full Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and best practices. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks based on process criticality. The candidate should be able to work within a well-documented project methodology such as SDLC or Agile. A detailed knowledge of fixed income securities and analytics, and experience of working with fixed income trading desks and modeling areas is a plus.
