Job Description

As a Security Officer Entrance Screening in Baytown, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential verification, and/or entry point screening at the location.
Monitor inbound and outbound activity at gates, doors, and receiving areas to help support authorized access for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the building perimeter, parking areas, and key access points, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Document daily activity, access-related events, and incident details, and communicate relevant updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
